How do you store leftover party supplies so they stay usable
Seal unopened sleeves of plates, cups and napkins in a clear zip bag with a silica packet inside a flat storage tub, and store uninflated latex balloons in a cool, dark drawer away from sunlight. Paper goods keep indefinitely when dry, while latex lasts 1–2 years.
Do leftover latex balloons expire in storage?
Heat and UV light oxidise latex within months, making balloons brittle. Kept sealed in a dark room-temperature cupboard, quality latex stays stretchy for up to two years.
Can you reuse foil balloons and banners from a party set?
Yes. Deflate foil balloons gently with a long drinking straw inserted through the self-sealing valve, fold them flat, and pack cardstock banners between stiff boards.
