Are party favor boxes or bags better

Boxes suit one solid gift and stack neatly on a table; bags suit mixed small items and cost less. A 6 × 6 cm box holds a bracelet or a small toy, while a bag holds three or four loose pieces without rattling around.

Do favor boxes need to be filled to the top?

Yes, visually. A half-empty box looks meaner than a small full one, so match the box to the gift rather than buying one size for everything.

Can you use paper cups as favor boxes?

For older children, yes — a paper cup with a tissue lid and a name tag works and costs almost nothing. Toddlers will tear it open, so use a bag instead.
